CNY is just round the corner.
This is not the first time I mentioned this but I guess I will do it again. I don't really like CNY, not anymore again.
Parents have been nagging big time... I need to get my new clothes and stuff. Gosh.. yeah it's the time of the year again. Haha... I seldom go shopping maybe once or twice a year. Yeah... can't understand the fascination of shopping.
Alright.. guess one set is sufficient? don't really need new clothes if I'm to be at home. I guess pasar malam and those tees that NUS clubs give out enough. Cheap and good. Aiyah... why would I need so many new clothes anyway? Not working... my npcc uniform enought to provide me with my parades. i have my PT kit ... wadever is required I have.
I guess I haven't been blogging for quite some time liao.
I'm glad that someone actually took time off to read what I have to write. Thanx for all those that made the effort to leave a msg.
Went for dinner with some of my old friends. Ah well, one of them's married, another other ROM . Some 5 years ago, we were still playing around, carefree like kids. Yeah and now they are someone else's wife.
Time flies.

Yeah.. CD stores. I can't remember the last time I went to Orchard area.... an area that I use to go every week, knowing the place inside out. The 2 CD stores outside Orchard MRT Popular used to be my favourtite haunt. Well, I was too lazy to go all the way to Towers or HMV. Kind of took a walk down memory lane, when I was still in love( doesn't matter who or what the subject/object) was).
I can still remember whatever allowance I have will more or less go to the CD shops. I love complilations.
I no longer patronise these places. THe main reason being that I seldom go shopping. Another being that you can always switch on the radio and get music for free. Channels 20, 51, the MTV channels have wonderful music Videos. Of course, Mp3 is so available. Why bother?
Okies... people in the industry will start shouting and screaming. Oh well... I'm sorry but well.. take a look at SingNet... they are offering service to have higher bandwidth and so on. Ah... you decide.

Okies.. NPCC UOPA results are Out. COngrats to all that did well. Try harder for those that didn't do that well.
Yeah.. it's the new year.... or rather another new year again. Nothing special , nothing significant.
In a way, pretty glad that 2003 's over. I'll be the first to admit that 2003 wasn't that wonderful a year. What have we got? Oh well, other than my horrible grades, we have SARS, wars, suicide bombings, deaths in SAF and the HK enterntainment circle and oh well... I guess the list goes on.
Of course, the incidents are not listed in any order. I won't want to put a weightage on these events, not too nice. A death is a death. Of course, my horrible grades defintely pale in comparison.
The death of Anita Mui defintely dampened sprits for the HK music scence. I'm not the most ardent fan of hers, but I defintely respect her for her contribution to the HK music circle. She died of lung failure due to cancer.
Her life's defintely not a bed or roses. Her father died when she was a child and she started earning money to support her family at the age of 4 1/2, singing at live shows with her older sister who died of womb cancer in 2000.
Her big break came in 1982 when, at 17, she won the first New Talent Singing Competition in Hong Kong and a recording contract with Capital Artist.
Transforming herself, chameleon-like, from a teddy girl in one album (Anita Mui, 1985) to an Arabian seductress in the next (Bewitching Girl, 1986), she was called the Madonna of Asia and became the supreme idol of a generation who had never seen a Chinese performer like her before.
Her greates regret in life? Not having the chance to get married. She may be a superstar, with lotsa adoring fans, however, that defintely caused problems for her love life. Whoever said being famous is wonderful?
'Any man who goes out with Anita Mui will eventually end up asking himself, 'Why am I Anita Mui's boyfriend?'--- the late Anita Mui
She said in recent interviews that she had given up hope of ever getting married. At last month's concerts, she wore the jewellery she had been saving for her wedding because she said she would never get the chance to wear them otherwise. She also wore a wedding gown.
I guess you gain some, you lose some
