What a JOKE!!!!

DBS actually threw away safes that contained previous items of its customers? This is simply amazing!! I don't see the bank staff throw away or misplace their paychecks?

Another "honest mistake" ? Hello?? The future of Singapore banking is at stake!! Heads must roll!! I'm already not very please with the current banking services of DBS in Singapore. I'm not sure what kind of services its HK branches provide but one thing is for sure, they provide free disposal of valuable items. They even throw in a couple of safe boxes to add on to the excitment. Outstanding!!

This isn't going to help Singapore anyway and seriously , having lived on this planet for close to a quarter of a century, I have yet to hear anything as absurb as this.

There's no way that the bank will be giving a compensation that can truly compensate the lost. Sendimental items can never be replaced. And frankly speaking, I don't think DBS (HK) will compensate anything close to the market value of the items. They claim that they will careful and be on the lookout for incredible claims by customers. In otherwords, what ever the customer says, they will be trying to reduce it, afraid that they would be overcharged?

Sometimes I wonder that these bank providers, say in Singapore, if I have an account in DBS and I have only $499.99 in it, it's as good as saying bye bye to $2. This amount will be administered for maintaining such a low account. This amount is defintely going to be deducted... fast and furious, with extraordinary efficiency. At least this is what they say. This is to help the bank remain competitive and maintain it's efficiency. Now with this incident, will DBS be compensating on the admin time their clients have to spend in getting some form of compensation back? It's only fair what. What about the sleepless nights and the possible heart attacks that one might have to endure being the client of the bank?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Enuff said.

Suddenly, OCBC and UOB looks pretty enticing to me.What time do they open tomorrow morning huh?
